AI Quiz Solver
On any quiz page, you'll see action buttons directly on screen. No need to click the extension icon!
On the QuizFinished page, you'll also find two action buttons: "Download Quiz PDF (latest)" and "Quiz History" (view all quizzes with download options).
Lecture Automation
Genie automatically detects lecture videos and adds smart action buttons directly on the lecture page.
Features include auto-play, auto-skip, and progress tracking. Configure settings in the extension popup.
GDB Helper
On GDB discussion board pages, action buttons appear automatically for quick access.
Replicate the GDB topic into the extension sidebar and generate well-structured discussion posts and replies using AI.
Multi-Account Manager
Save multiple VU accounts and switch between them instantly — one click is all it takes.
- Open extension popup → Accounts tab
- Click Add Account and enter VU username and password
- Give each account a nickname (e.g., "My Account", "Friend's Account")
- Save credentials securely in your browser
- On the sign-in page, select any saved profile and click Login
All credentials are stored locally with secure encryption. Never sent to external servers.

VU Empire Genie uses Google Gemini AI to power its intelligent features. Follow these steps to set up your free API key.
Get Your Google Gemini API Key
- Go to Google AI Studio
- Sign in with your Google account
- Click "Get API Key" → "Create API Key"
- Select a Google Cloud project (or create a new one)
- Copy the generated API key
Free Tier Limits & Security
- Requests per minute: 15 RPM
- Requests per day: 1,500 RPD
- Tokens per minute: 32,000 TPM
- Cost: Completely free
Privacy Note: API calls go directly from your browser to Google Gemini. We have zero access to your data or API key.

Extension not loading?
- Refresh the LMS page after installing
- Ensure the extension is enabled in Chrome settings
- Check permissions: activeTab, storage, scripting
- Try restarting Chrome
- Disable conflicting extensions (ad blockers)
Quiz solver not working?
- Verify your API key is saved and not expired
- Check your internet connection
- Ensure the quiz page is fully loaded
- Confirm you're on lms.vu.edu.pk
- Check Gemini API free tier limits
Lecture automation not triggering?
- Confirm you're on a valid lecture page
- Some lecture formats may not be supported yet
- Ensure JavaScript is enabled
- Try refreshing and waiting a few seconds
Multi-account login issues?
- Re-save credentials in the Accounts tab
- Check username/password accuracy
- Clear browser cache if switching fails
- Ensure profile nickname is set
